How to Optimize Rehab & Return to Sport after ACL Surgery:
It starts with THE WHY Despite the advancement in ACL reconstruction (ACLR) surgical techniques, the ability of athletes to regain their pre-injury level of performance is not guaranteed. For those who returned successfully to sport, re-injury remains a risk...thus, recovery must be optimized! ACLR rehab is lengthy and sometimes overwhelming process… I am here to help guide you from diagnosis to rehab to return to play. ACL reconstruction is the most common injury that comes into my office. Unfortunately, I also see second opinions for patients who have failed a prior ACL surgery or those who have been re-injured. While re-injury is never 100% preventable (I will explain why), my goal is to reduce you (or your patient's) chance of having to go through this arduous process again! So...how can we optimize ACL surgery recovery? I can teach you.
